World Class Computerised Blending System

 

The AGS world class blending operation provides AGS the ability to have all products stored off natural ground away from weed and pathogen contamination through the whole manufacturing process. The recently updated computer controlled blender gives AGS the ability to provide a perfectly blended product every time.

AGS mixes contain SaturAid wetting agent, Green Jacket fertiliser and Elemax trace elements

CUSTOM POTTING MIX BLENDS

  • AGS Advanced Tree Mix
    The advanced tree potting media has been specifically developed to give superior performance over a long period of time with particular attention given to the physical and nutritional properties required by mature crops. Suited for 10 inch pots and above and also bags. Available with or without controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Deciduous Mix
    The AGS Deciduous Mix has been specifically developed to give superior performance across a wide range of deciduous plants, with special attention given to deferred controlled release fertiliser delivery. Suitable for 7 inch pots and above or bags. Available with or without controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Air-Prune/Rocket Pot Mix
    The AGS Rocket Pot/Air-Pruned Mix has been specifically developed with a low air-filled porosity (AFP) and increased ballast to ensure optimal performance. Suitable for use in all air-pruned pots. Available with or without controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Azalea, Gardenia and Camellia Mix"
    The Azalea, Gardenia and Camellia Mix has been specifically developed to give superior performance across a wide range of acid loving plants. Suitable for 4 inch pots and above. Available with or without controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Premium Rose Mix
    The AGS Premium Rose Mix has been specifically developed to give Roses the gross feeding nutrition they require. Used by leading Victorian and New South Wales Rose production nurseries. Suitable for 4 inch pots and above. Available with or without controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Premium Citrus Mix
    The AGS Premium Citrus Mix has been specifically developed to cater for the gross feeding requirements of citrus and olive crops. This mix is high in nutrition and trace elements which is vital for a healthy citrus crop. Available with or without controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Cacti and Succulent Mix
    The AGS Cacti and Succulent mix provides the perfect medium for plants suited to arid environments, as well as providing the nutritional properties required. Suitable for 4 inch pots and above. Available with or without controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS General Mix
    The AGS General Mix has been specifically developed to give superior performance across a wide range of plant types. Many nurseries today grow a wide variety of plants but do not have the luxury of space to keep a wide variety of crop specific media. AGS General Potting media provides a happy medium, and is used by many of the leading production nurseries across Victoria and New South Wales. Suitable for 4 inch pots and above. Available with or without controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Landscape Mix
    The AGS Landscape Mix has been specifically developed to perform across a wide range of applications. This mix can be used in a variety of commercial and domestic growing environments. Contains controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Native Mix
    The AGS Native Mix has been specifically developed to give superior performance across a wide range of native plants as well as phosphorus sensitive native and exotic plants. Especially suited to Proteaceae, Grevillia and Banksia crops. Suitable for 4 inch pots and above. Available with or without controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Rooftop Mix
    The AGS Lightweight Rooftop Mix has been specifically developed to suit applications where a lightweight media is required. This product binds together, reducing wind and water erosion in elevated and exposed environments. Contains controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Orchid Bark
    AGS Orchid Bark has been developed to be free of fine material so as to provide a porous growing environment for Epiphytes. Suitable for 4 inch pots and above.
  • AGS Plug Tray and Seedraising Mix (Plugger 111)
    The AGS Plug Tray and Seedraising Mix has been specifically developed to give superior performance when used in community or plug/cell systems. Suitable for most plug tray types. Specifically suited to growing vegetable seedlings.
  • AGS Commercial Seedraising Mix (Plugger 333)
    The AGS Commercial Seedraising Mix is a plug tray media specifically developed for use in medium-large scale vegetable production. This mix is specifically suited to growing vegetable seedlings. Contains controlled release fertiliser.
  • AGS Propagation/Striking Mix (Plugger 444)
    The AGS Propagation and Striking Mix has been developed to provide the perfect environment for propagating young plants. This mix can be used to grow soft and hard wood cuttings. Suitable for community and cell tray use.
